The director will help create a community that nurtures cultural identity, a sense of belonging, self-care, and academic success for Indigenous students by leading the American Indian Student Support Services center and collaborating with other units on campus to facilitate the academic, social, and cultural success of Indigenous students.
The supervisor oversees and participates in the hiring, training, evaluation, discipline, and termination of unit staff, as well as the day-to-day operations of the American Indian Student Support Services Center. Plans and oversees events aimed at influencing enrollment and service to Indigenous students.
